The morphology Way

It’s about recognizing that a stiff neck is more than just a physical ailment; it’s a testament to stress, posture, and the many ways that life leaves its imprint on our bodies.

In this way, my work morphs into something far greater than the sum of its parts: a mission to transform the way people live in their bodies, making each step, each breath, and each moment one of awareness and well-being.

Whole person assessment

“How are you feeling today in your body?”

Every session begins with a conversation and check in since your last massage. Any new activities of daily life (ADLs), pain-free moments to celebrate, or new little aches you’re feeling will be discussed before I guide you through assessments like posture, palpation, range of motion (ROM), and more. Not every session may need full assessments, but every session reserves time for this whole-person check.

Short-term and long-term goal setting

Do you have goals to improve your sleep, play a round of golf without knee pain, sit at your work desk for the day with a less achy back, or pick up your grandchild without that twinge in your shoulder?

Together, we’ll consider all of things you love to do in your life to develop short-term and long-term SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely) that can be tracked over time.

Add-ons at no additional charge

I believe in creating a customized bodywork experience for every client, and so I come to your session fully equipped with all of the tools and supplies to provide dynamic cupping, hot stones, and aromatherapy based on your needs and consent.

Self-care resources

Homework is never fun, but in order to enjoy the full benefits of massage, it’s important to continue your self-care off the massage table.  I’ll provide self-care homework such as stretches, body awareness techniques, or mindfulness practices that can be built into your life (rather than another thing added to it!) for you to consider doing between sessions.

Client-first approach

Above all, massage is for you. Whether you come to massage for relaxation and a bit of time for yourself, or you have goals to live a more pain-free life and find balance in your body, my approach is to listen to your needs and help get you there. My goal is to meet your body where it’s at.
